If you haven’t read the post “Crossword puzzler” do it now, or else you won’t know what I’m talking about.

The best answer was fill, not kill. I forget the entire explanation they gave, but it essentially boiled down to the fact that one should be productive and use their free time by doing something useful, i.e. filling time, rather than just wasting, or killing, it. And that’s why the prize for the crossword usually builds up for at least a year before anybody manages to win it.
