Today’s Definitely Not the Opera got me thinking about my pop culture blind spot — the things that everybody knows about except you. The first thing that came to mind is anything to do with sports (the exception being Curling, of course — the Scott starts today!), but they were talking more about movies, music, and television today.

I guess I’m a bit hazy on all of those… well, especially music. I don’t even like the Beatles. I know what I like, and it just happens that very little of it counts as main stream. I have many more Disney songs, instrumental movie soundtracks, and J-Pop albums than I care to admit. A good song is a good song.

As for 80′s television, though, I’m sure to catch just about any Fraggle reference you care to make. Pukka pukka.
